This essay relates to my theme because while I was writing the essay sometimes Icould just come up with ideas by the snap of my finger, Other times though it was hard because I had to go back and say to myself does this sound right and maybe should I change what I just wrote. In the end, I figured out that if I would just stick with what I wrote then go back and check it, it just might seem a bit easier. Just like a rollercoaster because if I am scared of going on a rollercoaster I should just block the bad thoughts out of my mind and just focus on the good ones.
Do you really think that high school kids on a bus would really like having seat belts on a bus? I strongly disagree with putting seat belts into the school for many reasons. My main idea for not putting seat belts in buses is because if the bus comes to a screeching stop the belts could choke you. The second reason is that little kids in elementary school could be too small for them. My last reason is that if they did put seat belts in the buses you wouldn’t be able to turn around and talk to some friends that you might have behind you. This is why I feel that there shouldn’t be seat belts in buses.
If the bus came to a screeching stop the seat belt that you are wearing could choke you. For instance, if there was a car accident coming up fast and the bus driver had to stop the seat belts would lock while the person was still moving forward and the seat belt could come up to the persons neck and choke them. Then if there was too much damage that childs mom or dad could sue the city. Then the city would be held responsible for that childs injury.
Some kids going to elementary school could be too small to fit into the seat belts and it could possibly kill them or paralyze them. If the child died his parents would be very sad. Plus a few years ago a little girl on the news died wearing her seat belt. She was the only one that died wearing her seat belt because it was to big for her and her head got cut off because the limo driver came to a hard stop. So we wouldn’t other little kids like her dying while in a school bus.
You wouldn’t be able to turn around and talk to your friends. From my recent experience on buses a lot of high schoolers like to turn around to talk with friends. So if you put in seat belts they would lock while they are trying to turn around and they could move. But, even if it didn’t lock it would still be pretty uncomfortable trying to turn around while fighting the seat belt.
Meaning if we put seat belts into school buses it will cost us more money. Tax payers may have to pay more and adults might not want to do that. Plus adults and kids have different thoughts about seat belts. So I think that if we put seat belts into the buses some adults might like that idea but most kids wouldn’t. co
